Verification & Assessment

We confirm your eligibility, recommend the right entity type, and complete the required foreigner assurance and beneficial ownership checks before anything is submitted.

02

CIPC Registration

We reserve your company name, draft the incorporation documents and register the company with the CIPC. You do not need to be present for any part of it.

03

SARS Registration & Banking Assistance

We register the company for tax with SARS, obtain your tax number and Public Officer setup, and assist with corporate bank account onboarding — the step where most DIY registrations stall.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can a foreigner register a company in South Africa?

Yes. You don't need residency, a work permit or a South African director to own a Pty Ltd. You do need to complete the foreigner assurance and beneficial ownership steps, and the company must stay tax-compliant — that's where we come in.

How much does it cost to register a company in South Africa?

Our structuring and CIPC registration starts at R 4,500, with the registered address, bank account assistance, tax registration and ongoing compliance quoted separately (see the estimate above). Government and third-party fees vary, so we confirm an itemised quote after a short consultation.

Do I need to be in South Africa to register or run the company?

No. The process is handled remotely — we register the company, set up the tax profile and Public Officer, and assist with bank onboarding without you setting foot in the country.

How long does registration take?

CIPC name reservation and incorporation is typically completed within days once your documents and assurance checks are in place. Bank onboarding is usually the slowest step and depends on the bank and the completeness of your FICA pack.

Do I need a local director?

No. Foreign nationals can be the sole director and shareholder. If you're not resident, we can act as your Public Officer and Registered Representative, so there is always a local contact for SARS and the CIPC.

What else do I need to stay compliant?

Annual returns, beneficial ownership filings, tax returns, and — if you employ staff — UIF, COIDA and PAYE. We offer ongoing compliance support, plus a Promise to Pay option if you've fallen behind.
